Korean TV station Arirang, in partnership with the School of Politics and Public Management (KDIS), recently organized a special program aimed at strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Korea and Africa. This program brought together around ten journalists from different African countries such as Senegal, Nigeria, Zambia, and many others. The event also brought together KDIS Master’s students, as well as former students, including representatives from Gabon, who all came to discuss strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Korea and Africa.
Gabon was worthily represented by two eminent figures: Mr. Ted Martinez MAPOTA MIKOUMA NDONG, Master’s student at KDIS, and Mr. Boris ONDO, former KDIS student, seasoned entrepreneur and renowned speaker. Both have already served as president of SAMBA-CORÉE.
During their active participation, our Gabonese representatives brilliantly highlighted the issues and opportunities linked to the upcoming Africa-Korea summit. Their commitment and expertise were praised, making the colors of green, yellow and blue, symbols of Gabonese national identity, shine through their notable presence.
The upcoming Africa-Korea Summit represents a unique opportunity to strengthen ties between Africa and Korea, in a spirit of partnership and mutual collaboration. The fruitful exchanges and enriching discussions that took place during this event demonstrate the common desire to promote the socio-economic and cultural development of the two regions.
In conclusion, Gabon’s active participation in this upcoming Africa-Korea summit highlights the importance of international cooperation to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Together, we can build a more promising and united future for future generations.
