Gabon Represented at the 10th CBNU International Students Festival

Chungbuk National University hosted “The 10th CBNU International Students Festival,” bringing together students from various countries to showcase their cultures, culinary arts, and traditions. Despite being represented by only three students, Gabon took part in the festival alongside the African student community at CBNU, contributing a vibrant musical performance and an exhibition of African cultural heritage. Drawing on experience gained from Samba-Corée’s participation in annual festivals, the preparation for this event went smoothly. The collaborative efforts of the African student team resulted in an impressive presentation that highlighted the richness and diversity of African traditions.

The African students’ dedication paid off as their performance and cultural exhibition earned them third place in the festival’s competition. This achievement reflects the passion and hard work of the team, who have already set their sights on returning stronger for future editions of the festival.

This festival served as a platform for cultural exchange and community building, leaving a lasting impression on all participants and attendees. Gabon’s presence, though modest in numbers, made a significant impact, showcasing the country’s cultural pride on an international stage.
