Christopher and Chrysler, two prominent members of the community of Gabonese in Korea, Samba-Corée, and students at Chungbuk National University, recently participated in the Amigo Social Futsal (ASF) Tournament. This tournament, founded by Achu Muamaah and co-founded by Seungho Lee (이승호), is a celebration of futsal, bringing together players who enjoy the sport as a hobby. The ASF Tournament offers participants an opportunity to connect with new teams, form friendships, face fresh challenges, and, most importantly, socialize with others who share their passion for the game.
Representing their team, Culture Titans FC, Christopher, and Chrysler played seven intense matches in a league with eight teams. Their skill and determination propelled them to the semi-finals, securing a spot among the top four teams in the tournament. However, despite a fierce battle against the league’s top-ranked team, they narrowly lost 1-0, preventing them from advancing to the final.
Undeterred, the Culture Titans FC fought bravely in the match for third place. The game was closely contested, with both teams giving their all. In a dramatic conclusion, Culture Titans FC secured victory with a golden goal, clinching third place in the tournament.
Christopher and Chrysler’s participation in the ASF Tournament showcased their talent, sportsmanship, and unwavering team spirit, bringing pride to their community (Samba-Corée) and their university.
