As part of the end-of-year celebrations, Samba Corée launched a meaningful solidarity initiative dedicated to supporting children in Ndendé, Gabon, in collaboration with the Ndendé City Hall. This action reflects the association’s strong commitment to social responsibility and its determination to remain actively connected to its roots, despite being based abroad.
The initiative was made possible through a fundraising campaign organized within the Gabonese community living in South Korea. Members of the diaspora responded with enthusiasm and generosity, contributing to a collective effort aimed at bringing joy to children during a period traditionally associated with sharing and compassion. This mobilization once again highlighted the strength, unity, and solidarity of the community.
Thanks to the funds raised, Samba Corée was able to purchase and offer 93 gifts to children in Ndendé. These gifts symbolized much more than material support; they represented care, hope, and a strong message of encouragement to the younger generation. Through this gesture, the association sought to ensure that the children felt remembered and valued during the festive season.
The distribution of the gifts took place in early January 2026 and was overseen by the Deputy Mayor of Ndendé, acting on behalf of the municipal authorities. This collaboration with the local government ensured that the operation was conducted in an organized, transparent, and impactful manner. The moment was marked by smiles, excitement, and genuine happiness among the children, illustrating the tangible human impact of the initiative.
